Introducing The Landscape Abstract Series by Sue Roe

Artist Sue Roe is addicted to printmaking. So much so that this wonderful 'addiction' has brought her work to important exhibitions with the Royal Society of Artists and Printmakers (RE) last year, in the Royal Society of British Artists Annual Exhibition and the Society of Women Artists this year 2022. She's also achieved well-deserved recognition by being the recipient of prizes such as 'Intaglio Printmakers Prize (twice in 2015 and 2017), an Honourable Mention at the Awagami Print Exhibition in Japan, in 2019 and she has won the first prize at the Teesize Print in 2020.

We are delighted Sue is presenting new work with us during Open Studios 2022.

"My new work is all in square format. I like working in the square because it forces me to think more abstractly and simplify my composition." says the artist
