Chelsea Flower Show 2018
Chelsea Flower Show 2018 - Doina Moss report
The summer party season starts with the Chelsea Flower show, which sets the pace, trends and standards for the summer. The Chelsea flower show is a capsule incorporating architecture, art, landscape and latest achievements in the horticultural sphere.
I have been going for the past 30 years and I find perpetual inspiration for both my architectural projects and art settings. I always start with the larger show gardens, with start Landscape designers, some of whom I met on various projects and collaborated of producing contextual gardens.
This year I found new inspiration but I will not name anyone in particular, I prefer to tell my story through images. The RHS website can offer further details.
The evening warm light was adding an orange/ pink tinge to the displays, with an added depth of colour. Striking orange and blue tones with the contrast between the metal structures and the delicate wild flowers.
